I’m a local government web manager focussing on accessibility and usability, coupled with a strong background in web development and graphic design.
I have extensive experience of the role of the web in large public sector organisations, as well as the use of social media to engage staff and citizens. I’m committed to improving global standards through education and collaboration to work towards an inclusive and barrier-free web.
I run this blog to share my knowledge and experiences in this area, and to hopefully help other people doing similar roles.
I’m also a freelance web designer and digital consultant at Pretty Simple, based in Edinburgh, UK.
